ANIMEfringe Reviews!
Welcome to our Reviews section!
February sees ANIMEfringe's very first Music CD review. It's down at the bottom. ^_^; Give it a read, let us know what you think, if you think it could be done better. As usual, we;re willing to review anything you'll like from Japan. That includes ANYTHING -- Anime, Manga, canned beverages, toothpaste, music... anything. We mean it. So, if you have a review you'd like to see on ANIMEfringe (we'll put it right here on this page with the rest of the month's reviews...) don't be afraid to send it over...

Dual! Parare Run Run Monogatari
As most otakus might have noticed, the amount of new series coming out each week on Japan TV networks and those on some of their associated satellite networks is astonishing. The new anime series released in Japan over the course of one to two months is almost the same as the number of series released in the North America region. And very often, great series were overlooked by executives of anime distribution companies. One of such series is Dual! released in the summer of 1999 by AIC on the WOWOW channel.

Music CD: Megumi Hayashibara - "Bertemu"
What comes to mind when you hear the name, "Megumi Hayashibara"? Rei Ayanami perhaps? Or maybe Ranma Saotome? Maybe even Lina Inverse, right?
Hayashibara is definitely not 'new' to the Anime or Seiyuu scene. Starring in the most popular roles of Anime History, Hayashibara has been crowned the "Most Popular Seiyuu of All Time". I personally never looked into her music or works, but I am indeed impressed with this particular CD.
