 Showcased Website for March 2000:
fushigiyuugi.com: As soon as the page is turned...
 http://www.fushigiyuugi.com/
By Maura K Beddes (Thea) - Review by Adam "OMEGA" Arnold

  • Almost everything you ever wanted to know about Fushigi Yuugi from the basic to the anal.
  • Near-spoiler-free info on the manga, TV series, both OVA series, and CD books, plus info on the art books, novels, and other products available in Japan, in the fan community, and domestically.
  • Kai Ling's Hotohori Shrine, with quite possibly one of the most in-depth and obsessed looks at the Hotohori character imaginable.
  • The Names and Terms section, featuring a comprehensive and complete listing of names and terms from Fushigi Yuugi.
  • Also, Info about the site and the webmaster, Internet Resources, fan fiction, special features, FY page showcases, and much more.

Though only launched in 1997, fushigiyuugi.com is quite possibly one of the most extensive Fushigi Yuugi/Mysterious Play sites on the net. Even the casual visitor can admire the impressive amount of effort that Thea has put into this site. Virtually every page has some type of personal touch or comment by her, making each page well worth reading thoroughly. The layout is simple and cute while being soft on the eyes and easy to navigate as well. The background image works splendedly with the layout, giving each page a "bordering-frame" effect like a story book. And the extensive Fushigi Yuugi research that has gone into this huge site shines through it all, making this a site that should be on the top of the any Fushigi Yuugi fan's "must-visit" list.
