Magic Knight Rayearth

If saying that CLAMP is behind this one isn't enough, I don't know what is. This one has some great monsters, some beautiful weaponry, some killer music, and a slew of neat story. Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu are just your average high school students, they've never even met when Princess Emmaraude summons them via a huge flying fish to the imaginal land of Cefrio. There they learn that in order to get home again, they must become Legendary Magic knights and battle the evil Priest Zagato who has kidnapped the Princess, who holds Cefrio in balance through prayer. Becoming a Magic Knight isn't easy though, especially when there are thousands of monsters and evil wizards out to get you. And how about the princess? Whose side is she on anyway?
