Animefringe Web Showcase for January 2002:
Yong's Berserk Page
http://yong.ariszone.com/berserk_1977/
Site By Yong

Adam:
"Interesting layouts always are fun to explore and Yong's Berserk Page is no different. Yet, this page tries to go beyond the average fan site and actually tries to make the visitor try out the series they are dedicated too. Just take a moment to check out the screen shots in the anime section or the info on the game and you'll see that this site stands a little higher than others. Not to mention the fact that the multimedia page has some rather interesting movies and mp3s up. First of all there is a collection of all the movies from the Dreamcast game, then there is a collection of mp3s, and on top of that there are a bunch of movies from the actual series. If you were curious about the series, then this page might just make you into a berserker (bad pun intended)."

Holly:
"Even though I've never seen this series or read the manga, I found this site to be among the best fansites that I have ever seen. Yong's Berserk Page is well thought out, well researched, and presented in a very professional and easily navigable format. I have to say that my favorite thing about this page is that it actually opens up with factual information about the series and the manga. Most fansites open up with something like "Oh, this series is great, I really like it a lot and you should too!" and you're lucky if you can find specs like that listed on the bottom of some page you have to click 15 links to get to, if the info is even on the site at all. That element makes Yong's page a valuable resource as well as an interesting diversion. It's put together less like a shrine and more like an information directory. The only thing that I didn't care for about this page was the prompt to download Comet Cursor every time I moved from page to page, that did get kind of annoying. Aside from that and a few minor spelling errors that I noticed, Yong's Berserk Page is very clean and professional, and is a veritable wealth of information. If you're a fan, visit this page and you might even learn something you didn't already know. If you're NOT a fan, visit anyway.. you might just fall in love."

Chris:
"When I first found Yong's Berserk I was astounded by the quality of everything. Everything a studio could wish to put into a site to create awareness has been shown on a fan owned site and to the very highest level. Great clips, MP3's and above all valuable series info. You can even try out the first episode as a taster which I found a great help before spending money on the series. Overall an astounding level of professionalism and a lot of hard work have made this site one of the best fan-run sites on the net."
