Animefringe Web Showcase for December 2002:
Emily's Hana Yori Dango Page

Site By Emily

Adam:
"When I heard about this site, I have to admit I was intrigued about this series. It's a series I honestly hadn't ever heard of and it made me want to look through the site to see what all the fuss was about. The story page really peaked my interest and I'm definitely going to track down this title. I have to admit though, I might like the manga better than the anime both because the story descriptions and the vast differences in the overall look between them. Aside from that, this site has a cute framed layout that just screams "browse me." Be sure to check out the toy section, it doesn't have a lot of pictures, but the info there is pretty interesting."

Steve:
"Very tidy little site! Simple to navigate and packed with information, Emily's site is a model fansite indeed. observing the inset images on each page it's obvious that Emily has an eye for detail. I can appreciate that! Manga cover scans, music lyrics, an index of cute toys and an ezboard forum make this a perfect candidate for "premiere Hana Yori Dango site." I wonder if it is. I haven't been keeping up with Hana Yori Dango fansites, so I honestly couldn't tell ya, but I can safely recommend this site for those of you that want a good old-fashioned information overload. ^_^"

Ridwan:
"The title Hana Yori Dango sports a distinctive art style and Emily's Hana Yori Dango Page uses that style to its advantage. Emily's page looks very distinctive and very professional. In addition there is a wealth of information, not only on the Hana Yori Dango anime, but the manga, movies, toys and much more having to do with the series (including on fansubbed releases and the live action movie). Emily's page is highly recommended, for those already in the HYD know and those new to the series."

Danielle:
"With a first impression, Emily's Hana Yori Dango Page is perfectly suited to be dedicated to the show. The pastel colours, the flowers and cheery manga image set the tone for the angst ridden show. Her description of the story gives us information to lead us directly into the show, and the episode summaries provide the spoilers that tempt us. I loved how this site had a great fill of information on the manga, the anime, AND the live action show. The detail gone into the information is amazing, and is definitely the best HYD resource in English. ;)"
