He's a world-class thief, an international man of mystery and a debonaire soldier of fortune -- but this one doesn't always get the girl. He's Lupin III, and he's ready for the next big heist to cross his path. It can't be any normal heist, though -- he has to split the earnings two, three, or even four ways (or no ways if Fujiko steals it all). With so many companies putting out different Lupin The 3rd products, Animefringe takes a look at the series that became nothing short than a Japanese cultural phenomenon.

Three months of votes have been counted and the final results have been tallied. It's been a hard and bitter race, but readers turned out in droves to cast their votes. What could the Top 25 sites be? What is the number one site? You voted for them and now you have to live with them. Ladies and gentlemen, maybe we present the Top 25 Must Visit Anime Websites!

He might only be five years old, but he's got the mentality of a thirty-year-old man -- always getting into trouble for pulling weird stunts or going up to strangers and asking them hard questions like, "do you have a moustache between your legs?" Crayon Shinchan is a comedy series like no other and will have readers of all ages (or those 13 and up) laughing hysterically from the weird antics that Shinchan pulls in each three-page adventure.

The new Pokemon games, Sapphire and Ruby have hit the Japanese market and already thousands of hungry importers have snatched them up. Where do these new titles take the series? What can American gamers expect? Animefringe braves the jungles and rivers of this bold new world in hopes of finding that next unique critter to add to our collection. And yes, you "gotta catch 'em all!"

Kicking off the New Year is a new regular column, and this edition will help shoppers make those hard decisions in life. What's tight, what's crap, what's worth buying, those topics might just be covered one of these days. But first, we have a look at how to buy the most stuff with the least amount of money (the green stuff, dough, moolah, bread, [insert your own weird word for money]). Don't know what "Cho" means? Don't worry, you'll learn inside. And no it's not short for Chobits.

Anime On DVD is a well-known and respected website, but as of late, they have been rallying for boycotts of everything released by companies who put out some things that are "substandard." Do things like this make an otherwise professional website somewhat less credible? Opinions on this subject are mixed throughout the in-the-know anime community, and Steve takes a moment to show you the flip side of the coin.
